HealyKohler Design’s work on the Wall of Remembrance at the Korean War Veterans Memorial ensured that American military personal who gave their lives defending the people of South Korea were honored through the addition of over 43,000 names to the existing memorial. We also designed wayside exhibits, connecting guests to the site by providing historical context for the Korean War and establishing interpretive themes through graphics and media. Waysides include tactile maps of the Memorial itself and of the Korean Peninsula, with Audio Description provided on solar-powered speakers.
