National Veterans Affairs History Center

Serving Those Who Have Served

The National VA History Center will serve as a museum, education center, and historic archive. Our interpretive plan envisions spaces that will hold and preserve artifact collections from hundreds of VA locations, and present the VA’s story throughout history.

Guests will explore the local and national significance of the Dayton campus, and leave with an understanding of how the VA has been an agent of change in medicine and society.
